EventsWinter Trial 2009 at Butts Quarry – a short report
Download the results (including a full listing of entrants) here. The Club's seventh trial at the Ashover venue was again very successful. Some 51 drivers in 34 cars faced challenging conditions in a muddy amphitheatre. The eventual winner was Don Skelton from Doncaster beating Ron Bailey by 3 points. Most notable amongst other class winners was Sarah Skelton, Don's daughter who in her first ever competitive trial won the ladies cup. The event was organised through the Lincolnshire Group of the PWA7C with Ian Bancroft doing the secretarial duties and Club Chairman Graham Beckett Clerk of the Course.
